Child Abuse

Ollie's Oma and I had a fun time dressing him up in a Dutch costume for his very first Tulip Time! His dad, however, considers it child abuse.

Mad Skills

Well, since the first 5 months of Oliver's life went by without the documentation of every new skill he acquired, it is time for me publish some of his accomplishments. Recently we have noticed several new skills emerge: Ollie finally rolls over, he has discovered his feet (he now likes to grab his toes), and he likes to "sing along" if I sing to him. Since neither his dad nor I can sing on key, we are hoping that he inherited his musical genes from one of his grandfathers who both sing very well!

Last Days in Saint Paul

Our last days in Saint Paul are so bittersweet. Ollie and I are really looking forward to going home and seeing Tony who we miss so much, but of course we will miss Henry, Emily and Matt a lot. It is a shame that we don't live closer. We took advantage of the short time that we are all together by taking LOTS of photos!

Visiting Henry in Saint Paul

Oliver and I have been having a lot of fun visiting with Cousin Henry, Aunt Emily and Uncle Matt. Oliver is fascinated with Henry, spending a lot of time just staring at him. He also loves getting airplane rides from Uncle Matt and playing with Henry's toys.

Emily and I have treated ourselves to a latte every day of the visit so far, and we have enjoyed the gorgeous springtime weather by taking lots of walks.

Learning To Blog

My sister is teaching me how to use blogspot. Whether or not I join the blogging bandwagon for real remains to be seen!
