We braved the zoo in the pouring rain this Saturday. Ollie got to be the "bubble boy" encased in his rain cover. He waited very patiently as it took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to attach it properly. The zoo was actually a blast in the rain. Ollie was as fascinated by the rain drops landing on the cover as he was in the animals. He was so cozy that he actually nodded off toward the end of our visit.
And when I took off the cover, he was completely dry!!!! Yay!
Bath time has evolved once again. Now Ollie is interested in everything except for his great bath toys. He thinks it is really funny to stand up and plop back down into the water backwards. He also tries to scale the walls and get out on his own. Tony and I are not such big fans of some of these new tricks...
We are lucky to have a small park around the corner. Ollie has become a big fan swinging in the baby swing and "people watching" the older kids who are apparently soooo cool. He is riveted as he watches them play.
Oliver is getting big! It is already time to move up to the next size car seat. We have noticed that lately he is much more interested in playing with everyday objects (like this box) than his toys.
The bathtub video scares me. He is so mobile. Yikes! I'm glad Henry continues to have absolutely no interest in learning to crawl.
